1974年に誕生したCONVERSEを代表するアイコンの一つ「ONE STAR」

“70年代の幻”とも称されレザーバスケットボールシューズとして誕生したONE STARが今年生誕50周年を迎える。

この記念すべき2024年に香港を代表する俳優、Shawn Yue（ショーン・ユー）が手がけるMADNESSも

生誕10周年を迎える事を記念して、コラボレーションモデルを発表。
 

The “ONE STAR”, one of the CONVERSE’s iconic models, was first introduced in 1974.

Known as the “phantom of the ’70s”, the ONE STAR originally debuted as a leather basketball shoe,

and this year marks its 50th anniversary. 

In this momentous year of 2024, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of MADNESS,

the brand founded by Hong Kong’s well-known actor Shawn Yue, a collaboration model has been launched. 
 

上質な国産スエードをアッパー全面に使用したこのオリジナルモデルは

ONE STARの特徴でもあるサイドの星に内側はレザー、外側はアッパーと同様のスエード素材を使用。

タンラベルのように挟みこまれた左足タンのナチュラルレザーもポイント。
 

This original model uses high-quality Japanese suede throughout the upper and incorporates ONE STAR’s

signature side star, with the leather on the inner side and suede on the outer side.

A natural leather tongue tag on the left shoe adds a unique touch. 

左足インソールに〈MADNESS〉のブランドロゴをあしらい、

スペアレースにはスエードのシューレースを付属として採用しており、新鮮なアレンジをプラス。

両ブランドの世界観を見事に一つに昇華させたアイテム。

 

The left insole is adorned with the "MADNESS" brand logo,

and the addition of suede shoelaces as spare laces brings a fresh touch.

This item beautifully merges the unique worlds of both brands.
